• Account Credentials: If you choose to register an optional cloud account, we collect your email address and profile username to facilitate device synchronization.
• Audio and Dictation Data: When practicing the Tone Trainer or Tingxie stroke order exercises, audio capture and handwriting strokes are processed locally on your device using native platform APIs. We do not transmit or store private voice recordings on external ad networks.
• Diagnostics and Crash Reports: Anonymous technical logs (operating system version, device model, and error stack traces) collected through Apple App Store and Google Play Console diagnostics to resolve application bugs.

3. How We Use Your Data

We strictly utilize gathered information for direct educational functionality:

• To compute optimal Spaced Repetition scheduling for your Chinese vocabulary.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

You maintain full ownership of your learning data. You can delete all locally stored study progress directly within the application settings by clearing app data. If you have registered a cloud account and wish to permanently delete your account and associated records, please email us at support@learnchineseapp.com.

6. Children's Privacy

Our service provides general educational language material and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, please notify us immediately so we can remove it.
